Ahn, A Shattered World
Liro is the Western aspect of the sky and tied to the element of Fire. A great bird, whose wings are said to encircle the entirety of Ahn, it is most often represented as the Sun. Gliding through the sky during the day and slipping below the horizon at night, Liro circles Ahn in pursuit of its own tail and the single white feather that is said to represent the Moon. It is Liro’s frustration as the pursuit which makes the sun burn so bright in the summer and the exhaustion of the hunt that dims its heat in winter.
